Classic Quote of the Day

"Jesus is coming out pretty soon. We'd better get out of here!"

Wish I could take credit for that, but it's not my quote. This is a prime example of 'out of the mouths of babes.' This is what was carefully whispered by my friend's 5-year-old son this afternoon while we took a few moments to sit in the chapel at the Mother Cabrini Shrine before heading out.

If you've never visited the shrine, you should. You don't have to be Catholic or devoutly religious to appreciate the place. It's gorgeous and the views and statuary are breathtaking. Especially on a clear day like today.
